BubbleZine was the name of the magazine I started in the 5th grade. Before being told I couldn’t pass it out on school property during recess, students would give me hard-hitting stories like “how to get gum out of your hair” or “what activities you can do during recess.” I would put them together, along with my writing, edit, design and get them printed from the nice copy store lady for free.
A lot has changed since (especially the quality of my writing, I hope) but I kept the fire burning and am following my dreams.
Always a self-starter and go-getter, journalism is my passion. My niche is religion news with a devotion to social media.
